About Me

I'm a writer, author, mum, wife and coffee lover.

I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and I've enjoyed a career as a technical writer and training presenter prior to the release of my debut novel, The Designer Wife, in January 2021. 

This story was partially inspired by my sister Jane's real-life amnesia after surgery to remove a brain tumour. It was her journey towards recovery and her courage that inspired me to write this novel. What started as a memoir, quickly evolved into a fictional story.

Jane was a talented graphic designer prior to her brain cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgeries. She has an incredible flair for fashion and she enjoyed holidays in Atlanta and New York, so it was only fitting that the protagonist for this story was a fashion designer and I set the story in the U.S. For this reason, I wrote the novel in U.S. English. 

The Designer Wife is dedicated to Jane. I'm pleased to report that she's doing well.

When I'm not writing, I can be found exploring the New South Wales coastline with my family, my dogs and with a good (great) coffee in hand.
